Title: The Future of EV Research: Insights from the 15th ISEV annual meeting

Abstract: Dr. Lucien-Matteoni will give an overview of the progress made in EV research for the past three decades as well as challenges and opportunities to accelerate the translation of discoveries into clinic that will benefit public health. 

Bio: Dr. Fabrice Lucien-Matteoni, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Urology and Assistant Professor of Immunology at Mayo Clinic in Minnesota, US. He leads a fundamental and translational research program focusing on the study of tumor-derived extracellular vesicles as mediators of local and systemic antitumor immunity, and on the development of EV-based biomarkers for urologic cancers. Dr. Lucien-Matteoni serves as the co-chair of the ISEV Blood Task Force and he was the co-chair of the IOC for the last ISEV annual meeting in Puerto Rico.
