The Journal of Extracellular Vesicles (JEV), the online journal for ISEV, is seeking to appoint a new Editor-in-Chief to lead the journal for the next three years. The role of Editor-in-Chief at JEV is to oversee the editorial aspects of the journal, playing an important role in developing journal policy, reviewing and developing content, assigning manuscripts to Associate Editors to enter the review process and liaising with them on editorial decisions for the submitted manuscripts and implementing academic and publishing objectives. Editors-in-Chief are responsible for ensuring compliance of articles published in JEV with the MISEV and JEV guidelines. The role also involves promotion of the journal and convening meetings of the editorial team, to be held at the annual ISEV meeting. The Editor-in-Chief will lead the development of the journal and report to the ISEV board. The term of appointment is 3 years.
