Plant Task Force

About

The plant EVs task force (launched in 2024) gathers a group of experts in the field of extracellular vesicles secreted by plant and dedifferentiated plant cells, isolated from conditioned media of cell suspension and hairy root cultures, apoplastic fluid, plant exudates, phloem and xylem sap to discuss and put forward initiative regarding nomenclature, isolation, characterization, standards and standardizations.

2024: organization of the task force, meetings

Planned activities:
  • Map researchers working in the field of plant EVs (expected completion date: sept 2024);
  • Task Force representation at the ISEV annual conference;
  • Task Force representation at conferences/meetings on plant biology and tissue cultures related conferences;
  • Discussion/commentary/translation of 2023 MISEV guidelines to the field of plant EVs’ research.
